Brenda Schwerdt
Brenda was born and raised in Duluth. She escaped to the Minneapolis / Saint Paul area to study food and wine at the College of Food, Agriculture, and Natural Resource Sciences at the University of Minnesota. After three short years, she obtained her bachelor’s degree and moved back to Duluth where she is currently employed at Paustis Wine Company in sales and consulting for Northern Minnesota.
Celeste Heiter
Celeste Heiter lives in the Napa Valley, where she works as a freelance writer, and an Asian food and film blogger at ChopstickCinema.com. She is the author of The Sushi Book (ThingsAsian Press) available through amazon.com along with other titles such as Vignettes of Japan, Ganbatte Means Go For It!, and Five Seven Five.
Jacob Nelson
Jake is a native Minnesotan, formally trained in Napa Valley’s top progressive kitchens. He lives on the North Shore of Lake Superior where he surfs, writes about food, cooks odd cuts of meat and drinks a lot of Fitger’s beer. He founded, designed and maintains the Duluth Dish website in addition to businesses which include Minnesota Internet and numerous other online projects that affect the Duluth/Superior community.
Tom Wilkowske
Tom Wilkowske has a rich past in the Duluth/Superior area as former master of “Table for Two”, a food and dining column at the Duluth News Tribune. Tom is a trained journalist, musician, and serial eater. He lives with his wife and family in Duluth, MN.
